Captain Harman's Final Ride Sue Harman and the Harman family welcome Medfield friends and residents to view MFD Captain Mike Harman's Procession Route by lining the streets as it goes by. PLEASE NOTE: The Burial is PRIVATE Friends, I am not sure who knew this but Mike was also a huge presence behind the Covid birthday fire truck parades. He loved to be the one to drive the engine and lead these events on his days off to give kids and families a bright spot in their day during the isolating pandemic. I was lucky enough to ride a long with him during one and to see the kids and families line up along the road and wave with such excitement absolutely melted my heart. You couldn't wipe the smile from Mike's face either. The ashes of Captain Harman will be taking a final ride on the fire truck along with a police escort through a planned route to his final resting place. While we ask that you all respect our wishes for a private burial, we welcome anyone who would like to watch the procession through town. On Wednesday, July 21 around 11:30 am the procession will leave Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home on Miller Street and make its way around town.
