Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the part-time Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible for all aspects of the maintenance/upkeep of the Aldea agency locations, vehicles, and equipment. Timely respond to work orders and requests entered through Connectwise and requests made verbally/in person. 2. Identify and diagnose maintenance and repair needs through weekly inspections of all locations. 3. Confirm and track scheduled maintenance with vendors. 4. Perform routine maintenance such as: painting/patching walls, basic plumbing repair, minor electrical repair, kitchen equipment repair, minor repairs and upkeep of all agency properties internally and externally. Informing supervisor of extraordinary events and conditions affecting properties. 5. Pickup and delivery of donations of furniture and household items, auction items, between Solano, Sonoma and Napa Counties. 6. Safe operation of power tools. 7. Other duties as directed. 8. General knowledge and awareness of the agency PQI goals for the position. Qualifications: 1. Flexible work schedule, part-time and minimal on-call for emergent issues 2. Skills in plumbing and electrical work and other routine maintenance. 3. Ability to perform routine, repetitive, and/or physical tasks. 4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. 5. Ability to work alone and be self-motivated. 6. Knowledge of and ability to practice standard safety techniques. 7. Must have an understanding of and be sensitive and responsive to serving culturally diverse populations. 8. Commitment to the mission, values and goals of the agency. 9. Must own/have access to a pickup truck for hauling and moving. 10. Fingerprint background clearance, medical clearance and clear DMV driving record with current auto insurance required.
