Explore different types and techniques for pastels and drawing. Drawing is one of the most rewarding an beneficial artistic skills you can learn. The more you practice the more you learn and each image in your sketchbook reflects your journey. Join Karen Koseck in exploring different types of pastels, drawing tools and a learn few tricks and tips. We will experiment with soft pastels, chalk, pastel pencils and oil pastels along with trying different mediums on a variety of surfaces while completing your own work of art. We will explore a variety of basic drawing techniques, using a different materials from soft pastels, Oil Pastes, Pencil, and chalk on a variety of surfaces. We explore perspective and how shading and balance create dimension. A variety of subject mater and materials will be explored each class. Students are encouraged to chose their own subject matter. Ages 12 + recommended. Cost is $17 and supplies are provided. Bring a snack and drinks! Max of 8 per class
