Downtown Architectural Walking Tour: The Art of James Moran and Twenties-Era Hazleton
Charles McElwee, Vice President of the Greater Hazleton Historical Society, will lead a downtown walking tour that reviews the architecture of Hazleton's early twentieth-century building boom. Many of the buildings are featured in the late artist James Moran's paintings, which will be featured in a Hazleton Art League exhibit at the Hayden Family Center for the Arts (31 W. Broad St.).
The tour will begin at the new HUB Welcome Center (15 W. Broad St.) and end at the exhibit.
Time: 5:30 PM (approx. 45 minute walking tour) **Weather permitting (if it storms, tour will be cancelled).

Metered and Pango parking is available behind the Welcome Center in the city parking lot at the corner of Wyoming and Green Streets (parking is free after 6:00 PM). Participants should wear comfortable shoes. For more information contact Charles McElwee at [email protected].
