The Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress is partnering with local restaurants to offer picnic-style dining options during our FREE Arts in the Park summer concert series, which will take place in the new CAN DO Community Park in conjunction with First Friday.
Here are the details:
Each month (July, Aug, Sep), we will partner with Hazleton restaurants to offer their very own take on their perfect picnic-style meal. Picnic boxes will be available for pickup between 5:30pm–6:00pm on the day of the event in the Hayden Family Center for the Arts, adjacent to the park. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available on-site for purchase throughout the evening. Make sure to bring your own blankets, pillows, or chairs, and anything else to make yourself comfortable while you listen to the music.Be sure to check out the featured gallery exhibit in the Hayden Family Center for the Arts during the event!July 02: Music by Nina Scarcia. Aug 6: Music by Nate Myers and the Aces. Meal options by the Pines Eatery & Spirits and El Patron Mexican Grill.
Sep 3: Musicians to be announced soon. Meal options by Frankie's Pizzeria and Station 33 Restaurant.
Note: In case of rain, meals will still be available for pickup that same day/time, but you can decide to eat from the comfort of your home.
