Workshop participants receive a healthy, one-year-old, Japanese dwarf cedar tree, wire, and ceramic pot as well as a Stone and Key Cider!
Cyptomeria Japonica or Japanese Dwarf Cedar is a drought tolerant evergreen that is densely foliated, slow-growing, and low maintenance. Pretty green leaves will turn reddish brown in Winter and flush green again in the Spring. Here in the Philadelphia area, we are in the dead center of its growing area and it stays outside all year, and while it prefers 6 plus hours of sun a day, it can live with as little as 2-6 hours of direct sun. Learn how to keep your little tree alive for decades (not an exaggeration) and how to style and shape your tree for years to come! Instruction time lasts about ninety minutes and attendees have use of the instructor's tools and their choice of a cider or glass of wine from Stone and Key Cellars.
Tickets for 2 and 4 are available at a discount!
