Women Build participants put their unused goods together to sell to the public to help raise funds for Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. Women Build is an annual Pensacola Habitat for Humanity initiative that recruits and empowers women from all walks of life to come together and make a tangible impact on our community. From July through October, Pensacola Habitat Women Builders work together to raise funds and build a home for a woman in Pensacola Habitat's Home Buyer Program. The Women Build Yard Sale is one of the many fundraising efforts the participants put on to help raise funds towards their goal of $100,000. So far, Woman Build participants have already raised over $35,000! Help us reach our goal by attending this event and purchasing some lightly-used or brand new goods! There will be items for all ages and all types of purposes. For example, kitchen utensils, clothing items, furniture, children's toys, books, electronics and more! All of the proceeds from the Women Build Yard Sale will benefit Pensacola Habitat for Humanity and the families they serve. Founded in 1981, Pensacola Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical, Christian ministry whose purpose is to improve communities through sustainable partnerships. Their mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. Having built and renovated over 1,400 homes, Pensacola Habitat seeks new and innovative ways to positively impact the community through various meaningful projects, including their Home Buyer and Community Development programs.
