Position Summary: This position is responsible for the administration of best practices for Leave of Absence Administration supporting ELM Home Building Solutions. The incumbent should be well versed in the areas including but not limited to: STD, LTD, FMLA, Company unpaid leave and Worker’s Compensation. The incumbent will work with HR, Managers and Employees to help oversee the successful return to work and Fit for Duty process. Job Responsibilities: The coordinator will work with HR, Managers, and vendor to accomplish the following:Respond to all inquiries related to the above-mentioned leaves thereby establishing relationships as the resource for all the leaves.Communicate with HR/Managers to notify them of return to work (RTW) issues and delays so that managers can goal set headcount appropriately.Collaborating with our Worker’s Comp vendor and Safety team to determine and other related team members on ongoing and new cases and their resolution.Coordinate and communicate the approval or denial of any requested accommodations.Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.Organizing third-party providers and vendors to deliver elements that cannot be produced in-house.Aggressively communicate with managers on changes in RTW or issues involving lack of responses from employees.Collecting and preparing dashboards and summaries of all leaves for Senior ManagementDrive the effective management of LOA/STD/LTD program by working with the HR Shared Service Center, HRIS, HR Generalists and managers.Assist with implementing new processes associated with the administration of employee benefits.Assure company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the Affordable Care ActLiaise Worker’s Compensation claims by working with Safety department and the various carriers who handle our claims nationally.Assist with ad hoc projects, reports, and other tasks as needed. Qualifications: Attention to detail to ensure all specifications are met.Problem-solving abilities to correct any challenges or inefficiencies for the best results.Decisiveness and good judgment to address pressing project matters when time is limited.Organization and time management to manage multiple tasks, and pivot among the various leave demands at once.Goal setting to determine realistic deadlines for follow up among managers, HR, and employees.Minimum 2-5 years of benefits administration experience required.Bachelor’s Degree required.Solid understanding of Leave Administration plan principles, and other federal/state regulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, Excel in particularBi-Lingual in English and Spanish Competencies: Collaboration, persistence, analytical skills, highly organized.Experience working or interning within the manufacturing industries a plus.Knowledgeable of the policies, procedures, and best practices of Leave Administration/Worker’s Comp plans.
