Able to foster cats or kittens short term

I’m a UW student who really wants to adopt a cat, but I’ll be gone a number of weekends visiting family for the next few months. Specifically, I’ll be gone: - 7/30 to 8/1 - 8/6 to 8/8 - 8/23 to 8/27 - 9/22 to 9/27 - 10/22 to 10/27 - 12/22 to 1/4 I still really want to look after a cat, but obviously with this schedule I can’t adopt just yet. I’m able to look after 1 - 2 cats/kittens at a time, due to the size of my apartment. If I take in your cat(s), they will be the only ones I look after while they are with me to prevent the spread of disease. Preferably I’d like to help out rescuers in the area who are overloaded and need help immediately, or someone whose only other alternative is the pound. I can take pictures/videos and help spread the word to aid in the adoption process. If the rescue has any issues like fleas or needing daily meds, please let me know ahead of time. I am more than happy to provide personal info (Facebook, reference, etc.) to make you feel more comfortable leaving your rescue with me. Feel free to reach out so we can set up a time to talk about specifics :) Note: I will update this post regularly with dates that are filled so unless specified, a date is open.
