SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests: At 11:53 p.m. on July 12, officers from the Secaucus Police Department responded to the Palisades Park Police Department to take into custody a 31-year-old male, Mazen Abdulaban of North Bergen, NJ for two outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Andulaban was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody. At 1:15 a.m. on July 13, officers from the Union City Police Department responded to the Secaucus Police Department Headquarters and transferred custody of a 30-year-old female, Elyssa Poventud of Woodland Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. Poventud was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. At 12:03 a.m. on July 14, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old female, Tassadit Messaoudi of Secaucus, NJ for two outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Messaoudi was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. At 4:13 on July 14, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32-year-old male, Michael Quezada of North Bergen, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $580 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500. Quezada was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. At 12:38 a.m. on July 17, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 49-year-old male, Joao Pinto of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Pinto was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional six motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. At 2:15 p.m. on July 17, officers from the Secaucus Police Department responded to the Monmouth County Jail to take into custody a 28-year-old male, Donte Smith of Keyport, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. Smith was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
