Press release from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office: July 19, 2021 Boulder County, Colo. - On July 18, 2021 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Boulder County Communications was advised of a fire to a garage in the 4800 block of Valhalla Drive. Personnel from the Mountain View Department, Louisville Fire Department, and Boulder County Sheriff's Office responded. A fire was located in the garage of the home, which caused damage to the garage and attic. The approximate cost of damages is to be determined. Upon initial investigation, it appears that smoldering coals from a grill may have been the cause of the fire. The multi-agency fire investigative team (MAFIT) is assisting with this investigation.
