Mahwah Recreation Hosts 'Paddle Day' This Week

MAHWAH, NJ — The recreation committee will host a "Paddle Day" on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., officials announced. Lake Henry — located "in the rear of Continental Soldiers Park" — will host the event, with Ramsey Outdoor Stores providing canoes, kayaks and life jacks for Mahwah residents to use free of charge. All ages are welcome, but proof of residency is required to participate, officials said. A rain date has been established for Thursday.
