The Kings are hosting this year's event at their very own Golden 1 Center. The Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat will play a total of four games each over a two-day run. Two-day passes and single day passes are available at Kings.com/CAClassic. (Sacramento Observer)A series of accidents early Sunday morning left one Galt woman dead. Police say a 25-year-old male was driving on Highway 99 when he swerved and hit the center median. The collision sent debris into the oncoming lanes. After two drivers hit the debris and exited their vehicles to survey the damage, one was hit by an oncoming car who was attempting to avoid the debris. The 25-year-old was booked on DUI charges. (CBS Sacramento)Authorities said Monday that they are investigating the homicide of a 19-year-old woman who was found dead in a Sacramento home on July 12th. The woman has been identified as Rebecca Chaquies. Police are asking witnesses or others with possible information to call them at 916-808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at 916-443-HELP (4357). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000. (KCRA3)Get inspired by the Olympics and join the Sacramento 21-day challenge. Hosted by KCRA reporter Deirdre Fitzpatrick and Olympic gold medalist Gabe Gardner, the goal is to do something positive for your health for 21 days leading up to the Olympics.
