For a downtown high-rise building we are seeking an experienced Floor Care Technician with Lead experience. *Must be experienced in hard floor care, floor refinishing, and daily upkeep of hard floor surfaces to include terrazzo, laminate, and VCT. *Must be familiar with the use of typical floor care machines and their daily maintenance and upkeep. *Must have lead or supervisory experience to organize and oversee the efforts of the daily janitorial efforts performed by others, and preform light administrative tasks - submit time sheets for the crew, gather & submit monthly reporting data. *Must be physically capable of lifting and moving 50-pounds routinely. *Must be physically capable of refinishing hard floor surfaces - bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling for extended periods. *Must have clean Government background check required. *MUST read, write and speak English well. The successful candidate will have daily interaction with government officials and building tenants. *Shift is Monday - Friday 12-noon - 8:30pm daily with some flexibility. *Week-end work is required for floor refinishing. *10-paid Holidays per year. *2-week paid vacation after first year of employment. *Resume and professional references are required.
