PITTSBURGH, PA — Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh branches are now operating at full capacity and have added additional operating hours.
Restrictions are lifted on visitor frequency and computer use time. Laptop lending is resuming and personal device use is permitted. Additionally, furniture and toys will return to reading areas.
Mask requirements are no longer in place, although unvaccinated visitors of all ages will be encouraged to wear them while in the library. Children ages 2 to 12 and non-vaccinated adults should continue to wear masks while visiting. Kid-sized masks are available at all locations for those who visit without one.
Curbside and virtual services remain available.
Meeting room spaces can't yet be reserved, however, nor are they available for closed-door use.
