Press release from the Ventura County Office of Education: July 17, 2021 There has been some confusion recently regarding the California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) updated K-12 Schools Guidance, specifically around masking at schools. This graphic below aims to help clarify when masks will be required for students and adults while in a K-12 school setting. Per the CDPH, school districts are obligated to plan for and enforce the mask mandate. Individual school districts will communicate directly with parents what their expectations and practices are as the new school year approaches. The complete CDPH guidance can be found at this link.
