1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In Schaumburg Car Crash: Report

SCHAUMBURG, IL — One person was killed and another was injured following a Monday afternoon two-car accident on West Frontage and Woodfield roads. The deceased was pronounced dead at 1:29 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. Schaumburg police told the Daily Herald the deceased person and injured person came from different vehicles. Patch has reached out to the Schaumburg Police Department for more information about the accident. While the crash was being investigated by Schaumburg police and fire personnel, traffic was blocked from the Route 53 southbound exit to Woodfield Road, according to a social media post from the Village of Schaumburg.
