SCOTTSDALE, AZ — The body of a man was found in downtown Scottsdale in the Arizona Canal, near Camelback and Scottsdale Roads Monday morning, Scottsdale police said. The man, who police did not identify, was pulled from the canal just after 9:15 a.m. Monday, according to police. An investigation is currently ongoing to determine the cause of death and the identity of the man, police said. No cause of death was given, though detectives are working with the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office to determine such information, according to police. This is a developing story.
