The Moose’s Tooth Pub & Pizzeria, Bear Tooth Theatrepub & Grill, and Broken Tooth Brewery are locally-owned, high-energy, and community minded pizza pub, movie theatre, casual dining restaurant, and brewery. Our establishments are located in Midtown, Spenard, and Ship Creek. We are looking for a professional and reliable Manager to oversee the Janitorial Department, ensuring the cleanliness of our busy locations. Duties and Responsibilities: -Actively manage our teams of janitors at the Bear Tooth and Moose's Tooth -Maintain employee schedules and files, assign tasks, manage workflow, and assist cleaning teams as needed -Provide training and guidance to janitorial staff, monitor employee time cards, and resolve minor conflicts in a fair and efficient manner -Oversee and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning equipment functions properly -Ensure a high standard of cleanliness; daily tasks are completed and in compliance of state and federal regulations -Creating and implementing systems -Communicate with all company departments regarding janitorial needs and requests -Interview and hire new janitorial staff -Set an example of kindness and respect in the workplace Qualifications and Skills: -Minimum 2 years Supervisory or Managerial experience -Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies -Reliable vehicle, clean driving record, and a valid Alaska driver’s license -Willingness to engage in hands-on work when needed -Proficiency in Microsoft Word or equivalent -Bilingual Spanish skills a plus - An attitude that is motivated, detail oriented, and committed to quality Pay and Benefits: - Full-time, Salary; DOE - Health benefit package (medical, dental, vision, life) - Paid vacation - Complimentary meal plan (includes a plus one for dine-in) - Gym membership reimbursement - Quarterly profit share - 401k with matching - Alyeska ski/snowboard passes - Complimentary Moose’s Tooth/Bear Tooth concert tickets (includes a plus one) - Complimentary movie tickets for the Bear Tooth (includes a plus one) If you are interested in being a part of the Tooth Management Team, please apply online and indicate you are applying for the Janitorial Manager position on your application: !
