Our Landscape Crew Members are an integral part of the installation process of landscape projects from inception to completion. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work under the direction of the Landscape Foreman, Designer and/or Landscape Facilitator to complete landscape projects for Tangletown Gardens’ clients. Assist in all facets of the landscape process, including demo, bed prep, hardscapes and planting. Load and unload tools, materials and equipment required to complete each project. Operate various tools and equipment used on site, as dictated by task. Assist Landscape Foreman in maintaining and cleaning all tools and keeping fleet vehicles clean and organized. Reports for duty at the designated location and time each day. Has reliable transportation. May be asked to drive company vehicles from time to time. Must have current MN-DOT Health Certificate and copy of Driver’s License on file prior to driving company vehicles. Follows MN-DOT standards of operations for all vehicles, trailers, etc. Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times. Wears appropriate personal protective equipment as dictated by job task or equipment usage. Follows all safety rules, company policies, and regulations. Completes other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate for driving Tangletown Vehicles as requested. Ability to communicate clearly. Good physical condition, manual dexterity and stamina. Able to bend, kneel, walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time during the workday. Able to lift 60-80 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. Able to work in all outdoor conditions: heat, cold, humidity, rain, dust, mud, etc. Positive outlook, ‘can do’ attitude, and a team player. SCHEDULE: This is a seasonal full time role, typically mid April through late November/early December. Flexible work hours, Monday – Friday, and generally between the hours of 7:30am and 6:30 pm. Weekends or overtime on an as-needed basis. Hours vary by month based on business demands.
