Lot Specialist The Lot Assistant works with other members of the Lot team to coordinate our vehicle inventory. A typical week can include marking/staging vehicles for the sale or transport, inventory scanning & control, assisting with inventory check in & check out, photographing vehicles for inspection reports, flagging vehicles being marshaled, assisting with snow removal, and more. This is a full-time position with benefits package. Benefits: • Growth opportunities • Competitive Wages and Incentives • FRONT LOADED Paid Time Off Benefits • Paid Holidays • Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Insurance • Health Savings Account • Wellness Program • Employee Assistance Program • Disability, Life, and AD&D Insurance • Company Match 401(k) • Employee Stock Purchase Program Responsibilities: • Preparing vehicles for the auction and transport by ensuring they are moved and parked in their assigned areas. • Marking/Flagging vehicles as per instructions. • Photograph vehicles post-reconditioning. • Maintain an organized and orderly lot to ensure efficient operations. • Ensure vehicles are ready for auction and ensuring vehicles are in working order (i.e. jumping, boosting, adding gas, and filling tires). • Provides customer service by assisting customers in retrieving their vehicles. • Assist with snow removal as required (clearing vehicles of snow, light shoveling in yard). • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Valid driver’s license and able to drive both standard and automatic transmissions. • High attention to detail and accuracy required. • Team player • Excellent reading and legible writing skills. • Able to efficiently respond to various requests at one time. • Reliable, punctual, and dependable. • Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime, as required. • Ability and willingness to work in various weather conditions and by on your feet all day is required. • Ability to read English and/or comprehend alphanumeric ordering and motor vehicle traffic signs required. • Must be insured and/or insurable if required by the state. • Must submit to and pass controlled substance investigation and testing in accordance with company policy. Must not be under the influence of any condition or substance that could distract or impair the ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently. • Must not have a motor vehicle record or criminal record that does not meet the minimum standards set by company policy. • Must Pass a 10-Panel Prehire Drug Screen including all forms of Marijuana. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: • The physical activity requirements of the position are from Medium to Heavy Physical Work. • Constant – standing, watching, touching, and fingering, listening • Frequent – walking, talking, reaching, feeling, grasping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting • Occasional – climbing, balancing, crawling • Potential – running, jumping, yelling, or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations • This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards, such as electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to hot equipment and cleaning and pesticide chemicals; and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
