* Full Benefits * Competitive Pay * Great location * The Green Events Lead will work under the direction of the Site Services Manager. This position is responsible for facilitating contracted events, including coordination of: all information and documentation necessary to effectively and efficiently manage the work; supplies and equipment; and staffing. The position is also responsible for communicating with customers, drivers and coordinating necessary arrangements through the Logistics department. High School Diploma or equivalent and three to five years previous experience in event management, transportation, logistics, solid waste operations or other directly related experience; Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and routing systems; Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules; Ability to travel to prospective sites and events; Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Excellent organization and planning skills; and Strong leadership and training skills; Valid Texas Class C Driver's License Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on current MVR, with no serious accidents or traffic violations Valid Medical Card or the ability to obtain one Bachelor's degree in maintenance or business related field Experience managing workers in multiple facilities and remote locales Knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations Safety, OSHA and Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) training certificates Maintenance management /supervisory certificates and training Computerized Maintenance Management Software training (CMMS) *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
