EVERETT HOUSING AUTHORITY $hp.jobDescription.title Job Label: Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion July 2021 Salary Range: $8,460.25 - $10,998.34 per month DOE, plus benefits This position will remain open until filled with priority given to those applications received by 5:00 PM Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Everett Housing Authority Mission Statement: The Everett Housing Authority creates affordable housing, fosters healthy communities where households thrive, and replaces systemic racism with equity for all. SCOPE OF WORK: This is a senior-level position reporting to the Executive Director. This position prioritizes and focuses on the Everett Housing Authority’s strategy and plan to address the policy, training, and process needs to ensure that EHA operates in a manner that promotes racial equity at all levels of the organization. Emphasis will be placed on changes needed to treat EHA residents and participants equitably and consistent with EHA’s values. Other priorities include working with the senior Human Resources staff ensuring that staff and all levels of leadership are diverse and inclusive, particularly with respect to race. In addition, the position will be responsible for ensuring that EHA’s housing development and delivery plan reverses the historical role of housing as a tool to institutionalize racism. $hp.jobDescription.hotSell The Everett Housing Authority is a progressive agency pursuing its mission with great passion and a high level of professionalism and competence.
