(Mon-Fri 9-5 EST) (Please allow access to your camera and microphone) ABOUT THE POSITION: Bread is our client’s passion They bake, fresh freeze, and ship hundreds of different bread products like Hamburger Buns, Pan Breads, Rolls, Subs, Table Bread, and Dinner Rolls. Whether you’re looking for rolls to accompany a meal or buns for building the perfect sandwich, they can help you find the right bread solutions for all of your needs. We are seeking flexible employees to fill various part-time and full-time positions at the Northbrook, IL location. Flexible start times available. Duties and Responsibilities Operating and maintaining packaging/production machines, inspecting and selecting the product. Cleaning and organizing the packaging/production area. Checking the quality of the prepared products. Production of dough throughout the baking process. Assessing quality and then selecting finished product. Packing/labeling/stacking/transporting finished product. Cleaning trays/molds/pans and arranging them on pallets for reuse. Other duties as needed. Skills and Requirements: All positions require physical activity such as reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, lifting 50 pound or more, and standing for 8-12 hours daily. Employees could be working next to large ovens with temperatures that could exceed 100 degrees in the summer. Employees could be working in and out of the cooler/freezer (jackets are provided) Ability to use various machines. Good communication skills to deliver valuable teamwork Able to follow and execute instructions. Accurate, patient, careful, responsible, and quick and alert. Knowledge of the health and safety regulations. ~Including Current Good Manufacturing Practices ~Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment ~Knowledge of Color-Coding Policies Responsible for reporting all food safety issues to your supervisor or management staff promptly Knowledge of the products manufactured.
