DWS is run by the Staib family, including 4th generation owner, Andy Staib, his sister Kathy Staib and their nephew, TJ Staib. Markets served include the craft beer, beverage and food segments and technologies include flexo, offset and hybrid digital+flexo. DWS operates out of its 31,000 square facility in Deer Park, New York and has recently expanded by adding a second 20,000 square foot facility in Austin, Texas. DWS currently employs 60 people. Responsibilities and Duties: • Set up and operate can sleeving machine within acceptable production timeframe, waste, quality and safety standards • Visually inspect cans to ensure quality standards are met • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment • Complete tasks and other duties assigned Qualifications and Skills: • Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the US • Maintain safety standards within a warehouse environment • Troubleshoot equipment and product quality issues • Able to operate a forklift • Ability to lift 20lbs • Positive attitude, reliable and punctual • Must be able to stand and move around most of your day Compensation & Benefits: Health Insurance: Aetna (excluding dental & vision); employee contribution based on plan requirements 401K Safe Harbor, eligibility after one year of employment, 100% company match up to 4% of gross pay Vacation/Sick Days Vacation - 2 weeks (1st 5 years), 3 weeks thereafter; 5 sick days annually Hourly rate: $18 an hour (Potential overtime available after 43.5hrs of worked hours) Schedule: Full time (40 hrs) Monday - Friday – 7AM to 4PM Supplemental pay: Bonus pay & paid lunch Language: English and Spanish (Preferred) If you are interested, please email [email protected].
