Stay cool this summer and beyond working in our independently-owned food and beverage warehouse (dry and cold storage - no freezer) centrally located in Denver. At our small company, we value people who can be a part of a team but who also work on their own to get the job done. We provide customized service for many of Colorado's up-and-coming food and beverage companies, so a friendly, can-do attitude is appreciated. While you need to know your way around a computer, we are not highly automated. You should be able to think on your feet, check that orders are correct, and come up with creative solutions in a pinch. Employees act as account managers for some of our larger customers and get to know their products and their needs. The work is varied and interesting. Job responsibilities include: Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift, picking orders, and cleaning and maintaining the warehouse. Employees are expected to operate machinery professionally and lawfully but drug testing is not required. QUALIFICATIONS: -Ability to safely operate a forklift and other electric and mechanical warehouse equipment. TRAINING can be provided. -Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds. -Mechanical aptitude is a plus. HOURS are primarily from 7am-3pm Monday-Friday, but some of our employees work a weekend shift. STARTING PAY: $17/hour with minimum $.50 raise after one month if both parties are satisfied. BONUS: $1,000 if still actively employed at the end of 2021. In general, year-end bonuses are tied to company profitability and employee productivity.
