Plant a seed for your career with us at JRK Seed in Delano! We currently have an opening for a Production and Warehouse Team Member at our Feed Mill location. The Production Team Member performs a variety of duties involved in the processing, mixing, and bagging of feed, materials handling, inventory, cleaning, and maintenance of facilities. Some heavy lifting (50 pound bags and pails) is necessary. Plenty of overtime available!! Key Tasks and Responsibilities Read production Plan Set scale weight Feed bags through sewing machine or heat sealer Stack full bags on a pallet or in a box Move completed pallets with electric pallet jack / forklift Shrink wrap pallets (using machine and manual at times) Help customers in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner Responsible for maintenance and housekeeping of feed mill Assist in mixing/blending feed Be able to communicate in a professional manner to the customers, employees, and manager Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. Required Qualifications Must have High School Diploma or GED. Team player and goal oriented. Forklift experience a plus or willing to be trained to operate a forklift to move pallets, load/unload trailers.
