Hello. Drummer here looking to find a few awesome musicians to create mostly original music with but with a few well selected covers thrown in. I'm looking for non-flaky, driven(confident but certainly not egotistical) musicians that enjoy practicing with the band and on their own and that are always trying to push boundaries and improve their chops(hooray for the music obsessed! lol). Not sure of the exact sound I'm looking for yet but would maybe have elements of jazz, indie, world, rock, even maybe a bit of jam band sprinkled in etc. I'm planning on being patient in order to find the right fit for each position in the band. I'd like to perhaps begin with a guitarist that has originality to their playing and can provide many soundscapes if possible and then add in bass, keys, etc. I have a fair amount of original tunes written and hopefully the other members will pitch in songs as well. Additionally, I hope to find bandmates that become good friends and mix well vibe-wise. Music is fun so hopefully fun will be the main theme. I am in another band as well but we're more or less part time so it gives me time for other projects. This might be a shot in the dark but ya never know what lurks in CL land, lol.
