Project Quarter Horse - Saved this sweet girl from a kill pen back in April. We treated her for strangles, as she had a terrible cough and runny nose. Since then she has become much more outgoing and has developed more of a personality than when we first got her. She runs up to the gate when we come down to see her, daily. She does great with our mini pony even though he isn’t the greatest with her. Somewhat grain aggressive when it come to feeding time in the afternoons and has started to try to bite when she is being rubbed. I’m hoping with some TLC she will grow out of that. She also needs her feet done but our carrier has canceled twice. She’s also going to need someone who can hold her because she doesn’t like her feet messed with. Our vet guesses that she is somewhere between 10 and 12. Kill pen said they purchased her with an updated Coggins but did not provide that to us. (About two weeks before we got her) I really wish I had the time to spend with her to see what her ability is however, I start a new job in August and just don’t have the time she needs to get her restarted. - I’ve rode her twice, bareback, with someone holding a lead line. She did fine both times but desperately needs a refresher. Asking price is firm. I have spent a great deal of money just to save her and get her healthy again. $1500
