Fast-paced, neighborhood Veterinary Hospital (NW Austin 620 & 2222) has a Kennel Technician position available. Our main goals are to provide our patients with the highest quality care, to exceed in customer service, and to enjoy our work! We have a positive, top-notch staff and are looking for a great addition to bring on to our team. The right person will: - enjoy interacting with people as well as animals - strive for excellence - be dependable & detail oriented - be compassionate to animals - be able to work independently as well as in a team environment Job responsibilities include - walking, feeding, and medicating dogs/cats; cleaning and maintaining appearance of kennel and hospital; minimal grooming including baths and nail trims; assisting veterinary technicians. This is a rain or shine job. Finding pleasure in working outside and in all types of weather is essential. This position does require working on weekends (both Saturday and Sundays) and some holidays on an alternating basis. Experience is a plus but not required.
