American Textile Recycling Service is searching for reliable, results driven warehouse / route helpers with a passion for service, safety, and giving back to the community. About The Job: You will unload box trucks, dispose of trash, load 53’ trailers with donations picked up by route drivers, clean and organize the warehouse, complete basic maintenance tasks, weigh / sort products, log weights, etc. You will also (when needed) ride along with drivers and service / clean donation bins. This job requires hustle on the ground and the work takes place in varying weather conditions. Compensation and Scheduling: Full-time. Shifts start between 4:30am and 6:30am Monday thru Friday. Pay is up to $15 an hour depending on experience. Apply in person at 10430 Shady Trail Suite 106, Dallas, Texas 75220 - Monday thru Friday from 10AM to 4PM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain compliance with safety standards and company guidelines. Record estimated weight for each bin and ensure cleanliness standards at each stop are met prior. Also notes any maintenance, access, or other issues as directed. Unloads, weighs, and places product in shipping trailer and/or storage bins as directed. Deposits all trash in dumpster/compactor as appropriate. Able to use a pallet jack, write down scale weights, use basic hand tools, get in and out of box trucks, spend extended periods in bins to unload and in trailers to load. Clean, maintain, organize warehouse on an ongoing basis. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions or fumes. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and climbing stairs and in and out of a truck frequently.
