Blueberry pickers wanted We are hiring blueberry pickers in Rainier OR We are hiring pickers who are responsible, have clean practices and are not abusing substances. Picking blueberries is a simple straight forward endeavor that can pay well for the person with the right work ethic. We pay ten dollars a flat. A flat consists of twelve pints. The best pickers can fill two flats an hour. Please note however we do not simply pull down all of the berries that you can grasp, the skill is to choose berries that are ripe and ready and of good size. Therefore, you may be dismissed if you quickly pull down berries in a hurry in an attempt to fill as many flats as possible. Work is in two shifts, 7am to 11am and 1pm to 6pm. Work as much as you'd like within those hours but note that we would like at least 6 flats minimum per day. We can discuss your amount of days/schedule to suit. If you are motivated and have your own transportation, tell us about yourself. Resumes, work histories and other pertinent background information is welcomed.
