Service Technician Quality Water of East Texas (Q-WET) is a water treatment and filtration company local to Tyler, TX, and has been in serving the area for over 20 years. We enjoy helping to improve people's lives by improving their quality of water. We are seeking an individual who is looking to start or continue to grow their career in water filtration. This position is responsible for all aspects of preventative maintenance, service, installation, and repair of commercial and household water treatment equipment. Our Service Technicians must have a strong work ethic, pride in their work, and the ability to show up on time are required. We work hard, expect high-quality work, and take time to relax or celebrate success as often as possible. Each day is a little different than the one before. JOB RESPONSIBILITES: • Provide timely and effective resolution of service issues relating to all residential and commercial customers, including (but not limited to) equipment repair, installations, product deliveries, and upgrades. Installing, plumbing, upgrading, and maintaining equipment. • Complete installation and repair/service of water treatment equipment in residential or commercial venues. • Conduct self in a positive and cooperative tone with both customers and Coworkers. • Possess outstanding communication and customer service and skills. • Additional job training specific to our products will be provided. QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or GED • Clean Motor Vehicle Record • Experience with troubleshooting (handyman mindset) and use of hand tools a plus (we will provide water treatment equipment training) • Solid verbal communication skills • Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment. Including but not limited to bending, twisting, reaching overhead, crawling, working in tight spaces, lifting, and pulling (at times over 50 pounds). • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs on a repetitive basis.
