We currently have a General Labor position available in our facility in Kennewick, WA. As a Twin City Foods (Kennewick Division) General Labor your main purpose would be to perform cleaning and basic maintenance tasks under supervision of the Shift Leadman or Manager. General Labor should have experience in: • LOTO, Fall Protection, Use of PPE, Chemical Usage, and GMP’s • Understand Safety procedures for working around moving machinery. • Have previous experience or ability to learn to drive a forklift. • Be able to read and comprehend data on equipment, document as instructed. • Use of hand tools. • Basic mechanical ability Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Cleaning and sweeping of warehouse, docks, engine rooms, facilities, and grounds. Perform simple repair/maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities. Other duties as assigned. Required Education/Training/Certification Qualifications: Be able to read and understand simple instructions, document tasks as completed. Personal Competencies Required: Ability to communicate in English or Spanish with supervisors and co-workers. Ability to follow basic instructions. Work as a team member with other employees and work well with minimum supervision. Essential Physical Abilities: Walk and stand continuously. Bend, and lift up to 30lbs. Frequently climb and descent stairs.
