Seeking proficient lead guitarist for metalcore band

A few things before responding to this ad because I’m tired of the wrong people hitting me up: 1. You must be willing to play shows. I do not care if you are shy or get stage fright. It’s a non-negotiable just like everything else on this list. 2. I am not interested in joining your band. I have members already. I am also not interested in combining bands either 3. You must have your own car. Unless you are the next Van Halen or you are shelling out gas money, don’t expect a free ride. 4. You must commit to practice at least once a week. We have songs to go over and we are always working on new material. Which leads me to the next point. 5. You must be able to contribute to the songwriting process. If I wanted members who didn’t contribute to the music, I would just write the music myself and program everything else. Give me some originality and not the same rehashed idea over and over and over. 6. Keep your political views out of the band. I cannot stress this enough. I don’t care what your political preference is. It doesn’t have a place in this band. If you really need more clarification, we don’t care if you are a liberal or a Trump supporter. Keep that shit to yourself. 7. Don’t be a music elitist/snob when contacting. If you were so great in your previous band or you were such a big deal in the scene, then you wouldn’t be on Craigslist looking for a band. We don’t claim to be better than anyone so don’t you come at us with that attitude 8. If you have a substance abuse problem (drugs or alcohol), it’s an automatic “no”. We don’t mind having fun, we don’t mind having a beer or smoking a joint. But if you can’t handle yourself well enough to function when we need you to, then you can’t hang. It’s simple as that. 9. Have your own gear. At least have a fucking guitar if you’re considering yourself a “lead guitarist” while contacting us. If you have gotten this far, we are a band with songs written, merch, studio time set, etc. We have plans to release music and play shows possibly outside of Jacksonville. Time wasters will be ignored. If you respond with some bullshit, expect a bullshit response back. The members of this band are between the ages of 21 and 31 so please be around that age.
