Liapis Landscape and Design (Not a Mowing Position) We are looking for 4 detailed members to expand our landscape crews. Starting pay at 17.00 Per Hour for Laborer and Maintenance, BOE for Lead Position. Mon-Fri 730 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Sat. only if we are rained out more than 1 day. Generally we have a Short day on Friday IF we have no weather issues during the week. What we do is different every day. Detailed Work Weeding beds, edging beds, trimming bushes, grading, installing plants (Big and Small) some drain work, gravel work, and doing our best to accommodate the customer. Much of this work is done by hand (Wheelbarrow and shovel) so it is in fact LABOR intensive. We have a locatwion and trucks so you clock in at our shop and drive to the jobs daily then once back at shop you clock out after trucks are unloaded. Averaging about 43-48 hours per week. Our trucks are equipped with lift gates or dump trailer ramps so no lifting barrels into the back of trucks and no shoveling out trucks at the end of the day all out trucks trailers Dump!!! Laborer - you will be learning as you work how Liapis cleans up and completes jobs. We do it all from little annuals to complete installs. No experience is necessary but you must be willing to learn, work, and stay busy throughout the day. Maintenance - Looking to fill spots to join our maintenance crews- Most of this work is weeding and trimming with the occasional small mulch job thrown in the mix- This crew takes care of our long term Customers that expect the homes to be in tip top shape year round. Lead Landscape Position - This is a High Demand Position - plant knowledge is a plus and at least 2 years of landscape (NOT MOWING) experience. Reading a daily work list, Final Job Walkthroughs with Customer after Jobs Completed, Working with Hispanic crew members, Drivers License, Trailer Towing and Operation are all expected. Crew Leads work WITH members on site to meet time estimated for each job. The end result and satisfaction of the customer is the responsibility of the Crew Lead. Finally. This is Landscaping. Outside its hot, wet, cold, dry. We Lift Heavy stuff. We DONT smoke onsite, talk on phones onsite, or take breaks every 15 min.
