We are looking for a housekeeper to work 3-4 days per week for a total of 15-16 hours/week (ideally 3 days/week 5 hours/day, but we could also do 4 days/week @4 hours/day). Flexible schedule is an option -- so long as the work gets done, we don't care too much if it is morning or afternoon. We are a family of 4 (two teenage children) plus a dog. Both parents work from home a couple of days a week. Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen, making beds, tidying, vacuuming and mopping, cleaning bathrooms, washing drying and putting away laundry, some ironing, dusting, watering plants, and sometimes dog walking (or taking the dog to the dog park). Housekeeper may also be asked to run occasional errands, be available to meet other household maintenance people, swap winter and summer clothes in closet, etc. We appreciate someone who takes time to understand how our family functions and anticipates what will be useful, rather than someone who solely follows directions. We welcome self-starters and people who are trying to make a difference for themselves and for others. All household members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Housekeeper must be fully vaccinated as well. Pay is competitive: $26-$32 per hour, depending on experience. Paid federal and state holidays and paid sick leave provided. No other benefits.
