Dr. Clayton- Jones has earned one of ten coveted seats as a Betty Irene Moore Fellow a national and competitive award. As a fellow, Dr. Clayton-Jones will continue vital research related to youth living with sickle cell. She has been awarded funding for three years.
The Betty Irene Moore Fellowship for Nurse Leaders and Innovators is a national program to develop the next generation of nurse leaders and innovators. The fellowship program recognizes and advances early- to mid-career nursing scholars and innovators with high potential to accelerate leadership in nursing-science research, practice, education, policy and entrepreneurship. Betty Irene Moore Nurse Fellows develop skills and confidence in leadership and innovation improving health care delivery and advancing health.
