Are you a dog lover who proudly wears slobber and fur as a badge of honor? Is spending all day in a room full of playful dogs a dream of yours? Imagine getting paid to care for that roomful of dogs! We are hiring Kennel Assistants to love, care for, clean up after, set up crates and bedding for, walk, feed, and medicate 40-50 dogs per day in our indoor dog run. Though the environment is fun and positive, it is a physically demanding job which requires multi-tasking, constant cleaning, and lifting of dogs, food, and supplies. It is required to be attentive and on your feet at all times. Being a small company, we like to maintain a fun working environment with people who are high energy and have a positive attitude. It makes it more pleasant for us, you & the dogs. We have a small staff so we need people who are committed to the dogs and the business and show up on time for all of their shifts. Because we devote so much time providing rigorous training to staff, we are looking for a minimum 1-year commitment. This is a part-time job of about 15-25 hours per week, occasionally more. You will be required to work weekdays, weekends and all holidays and your schedule may vary week to week. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student.
