Back story: my sister and her family were evicted from their home nov2020 & they asked us to keep their (then little) puppy for a few weeks. A few months shy of a year later we still have this now not so little puppy (Opie) we’ve reached out 100 times and finally got a “just keep him” response. As much as he’s grown on us, keeping Opie is not feasible for our family. He’s potty trained and sleeps in his crate inside. However neither I nor my husband have the time to properly care for this boy. He’s extremely smart however he is extremely high energy and honestly we havent tried training him to do well with our kids (4 under 10) we know he needs a forever home with a family that is able to love him in all the ways he deserves. I do want to mention he does get bored easily and will chew. we’ve tried to keep up with giving him enough toys to keep him occupied but again, its not realistic or in our budget. TEXT IS THE BEST FORM OF COMMUNICATION!
