Join Columbus Gives Back and help Student Success Stores equip youth to be successful and not worry about basic essentials! Columbus Gives Back is proud to partner up with the Student Success Stores! Growing their reach and impact significantly, they are now serving 11 schools in Columbus and distributing basic essentials like food, clothing, hygiene, and school items to students in need. Where: 1509 Blatt Blvd is a Commercial Self Storage location. Your event leaders and an SSS board member or intern will meet volunteers in the front of the building, and walk you to the storage unit. When: Saturday, August 7th (9:00am - 11:00am) Event Leaders: [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. Additionally, if you were exposed before or test positive after having participated in a CGB event, please contact the event leader or reach out to [email protected] so that we can best support contact tracing efforts. About Student Success Stores: By providing students with the basic essentials, Student Success Stores helps ensure each child starts the school day healthy, confident and ready to learn. We need your help to keep the shelves stocked and reach even more students who need our support. About Columbus Gives Back: We love Columbus, young professionals, and getting involved! Our mission is to connect young professionals across central Ohio and engage them in our communities through 35-40 social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities per month. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
