Description
We need to rehome our husky/malamute mix. He was originally my sister's dog in Idaho, and we had him since 2016. He's a good dog, but we now have a toddler who is decidedly not dog-friendly. While Champ has always put up with our son's behavior admirably, I think he's had about enough and deserves a break.
We're looking for a home that has no young children. He's done well with cats in the past, but he isn't a fan of chickens. He also would need a fenced yard. Now that Champ is older, we've managed to break him from his husky tendency to run off, but he needs room to run. I've always worked from home, so he would do really well in a house that has a person or dog at home all day.
He sits, shakes and comes to a whistle pretty well, but he's still working on lie down. I just took him to the vet last week to make sure he is fully vaccinated and ready to go. All of his vaccines are up to date, and I can give you his shot record for the last two years. I can give you all of the food, bowls and toys we have for him--although he has always been a lot more interested in going for walks/hikes than playing with toys.
A rehoming fee applies. If you could tell me more about your living situation, I'd appreciate it. I want to make sure he goes somewhere where he will be loved and get to live a fairly active life.
