The Shakuhachi is a hauntingly beautiful Japanese flute that can be used in a number of contexts: suizen (Zen blowing mediation), traditional Japanese folk music, free improvisation and is adaptable to western musical genres. If you are already a musician and want to expand your repertoire or are interested in the Zen usage of the instruments, my lessons are inexpensive and can be conducted online or in person. Additionally I can recommend easily obtainable flutes that suit your goals and budget.
