Join us on Wednesday July 28 at 6 pm for a workout with Title Boxing Club and Marquita Anderson at Maggie Daley Park. About this workout: On Wednesday July 28 at 6 pm Title Boxing Club and Marquita Anderson will lead a workout at Maggie Daley Park. First, get ready for a full-body workout like no other with Title Boxing Club! We'll take on a quick warm-up before hitting 3-minute boxing rounds with active recovery in between. We'll finish with a core burnout to unleash the fighter in you. Then, Marquita Anderson will keep the energy high with a HIIT workout guaranteed to leave you soaked in sweat. You’ll end the workout with a smile on your face, proud of what you’ve accomplished. Tickets for all #SweatworkingWeek events are pay-what-you-can: This means that you can choose a price that works for you so that #SweatworkingWeek can be accessible to everyone. If you're wondering which ticket tier helps us make sure we can compensate our team and instructors, $15 is the sweet spot, but if you choose a different tier, you'll get the same love and experience. About #SweatworkingWeek 2021 - The Summer of friendship: #SweatworkingWeek is a week that we bill as being “Like restaurant week, but for fitness.” And that’s true - you get a lot of chances to try and sample workouts that you might not ever have a chance to get your sweaty little mitts on otherwise. But the thing we’re most obsessed with is that you’re able to make new friends in a lot of different spaces quickly. We’ve hosted #SweatworkingWeek and all of its iterations since June of 2016. We knew it was something we wanted to continue when the aftermath of the week was a clear and present feeling of community. Humans were saying goodbye with sweaty hugs even though they were strangers just days before. Cut to 2020. We were committed to finding a way to deliver something resembling #SweatworkingWeek. We partnered with Maggie Daley Park for what felt like our only chance at normalcy during the warmer months - it kind of felt like being in the eye of a hurricane. The winds weren’t bad, but we had no idea what was coming next. That one week window into the COVID-19-era stress of creating outdoor, group workouts gave us so much empathy for the owners and managers of studios and gyms. We brought people together as much as we could - but last summer, that looked like waving with your masks on from across a field. This summer, we’re embracing more of a celebratory tone. We’re theming the week around a simple idea: The summer of friendship. You’ll see workouts that bring together fitness instructors from across Chicago for workouts that will make you feel alive - not only because your blood is pumping, but also because you’re able to see the bright shiny faces of the people whose heart rates are up too. And we’re creating moments with partners that will help you feel the spirit of friendship too! Here are the partners you can expect to see: Michelob ULTRA, one of aSweatLife's BFF's. N!CK’S ice cream (yes, full pints), bars and some other stuff we can’t tell you about. Honey Mama’s organic truffle bars will blow your mind. Mad Tasty will provide CBD sparkling waters and other fun things. Another aSweatLife BFF, Delos Therapy, will be doing mini-Delos Therapy sessions. You'll get full meals from a new friend, Greenleaf and protein-packed snacks from Chomps. Hydrant will provide electrolytes and Open Water will provide the eco-friendly, carbon-neutral H2O. You'll have a chance to win gear from Athleta, Pulse Athletic Apparel, YETI and plants from The Sill. Go Puff will be providing tons of goodies to keep you feeling good. And Boss Gloss will keep you looking good with our new go-to hair treatments. When: July 28 at 6 pm Where: Maggie Daley Park Why: Because this is the summer of friendship and we want to spend it with you! What to bring: Just your mat! (If you have 1-3lb dumbbells, you're invited to bring them for Title's portion of the workout; however, they are not necessary for an amazing sweat) aSweatLife.com helps you live your best life with fitness as the catalyst. We host #Sweatworking to showcase where we love to work out across Chicago.
