David James, guitar and voice, Beth Custer, clarinet, voice, Alan Williams, trombone, voice, perform Dave's music, improvised and recorded. David James, Beth Custer and Alan Williams are veteran Bay Area jazz improvisers, and also record and perform rock, soul and blues. They have played Earthwise Productions event numerous times individually and as groups at Mitchell Park Center, Bottom of the Hill, Triton Museum and Cubberley Center. Beyond playing with Beth, David James leads his own groups or has played with people like Steven Bernstein Diaspora Suite and Michael Franti Spearhead. Earthwise's first concerts in 15 months, this event is part of a three-date series of free events including 8/7 La Dona and 7/31 Scott Amendola Philip Greenlief shows.
