Michael conducted anti-terrorism operations in the United States and Central America while serving as a member of the United States Marine Corps Fleet-Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST); he successfully completed assignments in uniformed services, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and criminal intelligence for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD); he served as a Special Response Team (SRT) Area Commander and Vulnerability Assessment Team (VAT) member for the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Federal Protective Forces (FPF); managed and developed physical protection programs for commercial nuclear fuel fabrication facilities, chemical facilities, data centers, corporate centers, houses of worship, Christian schools, and healthcare manufacturing; and Michael has managed executive protection details for at-risk persons and their families. Michael has Master of Science (MS) Degree in Security Management; a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence, University of St. Andrews and he studied terrorism at Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel. Michael is board certified in security management and physical security, and he is also a 32- year student, practitioner and teacher of modern pistolcraft and self- defense, an educator, and he serves as an adjunct staff member for a large university assigned to teach courses in criminal justice, homeland security and counterterrorism .
