The Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance services on vehicles, car wash and details, home, office, and vehicle decontamination. This position is expected to carry out all responsibilities through to completion with minimal supervision. • Write up work orders • Wash and detail vehicles • Operate lubrication equipment to change oil and service oil filters • Maintain lubrication equipment • Rotate tires and check brake pads • Service other fluids such as air filters, grease fittings, lights, windshield wipers, etc. • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles while performing services • Ensure that required documentation is complete and in compliance with company standards • Maintains records of time, materials, and work performed • Reset oil lights and update door stickers on vehicles • Communicate effectively with management and our customers • Build positive relationships with employees and customers • Tire change and rotation • Other duties as assigned. Must Haves: Competencies and Technical Requirements: • Ability to listen and take direction • Be highly structured, careful and conscientious, have meticulous attention to detail • Interested in accuracy and doing what is right • Quick to support proven procedures • Desires clear guidelines and thorough training for new situations • Loyal, efficient, conscious of what others think and expect, and careful to avoid doing something that might be criticized by the customers • Desire a sense of accomplishment • Self-directed with a high level of energy • Able to communicate effectively and persuasively with management and our customers • Internal drive, grit, and hustle to succeed combined with pride in doing the best job you can do. • Be a team player, hardworking, and honest • Be on time to work and reliable Educational and Experience Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • 1-2 Years of oil change and auto mechanic experience highly preferred • MUST be able to work weekends, Saturday and Sunday • MUST have 1st and 2nd shift availability • Basic computer and math skills • Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and be 18 years of age • Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights weekends and holidays • Desire to learn a new set of skills • Tech-savvy with a smart phone Nice to Haves: • Customer service experience • Fleet experience (rental cars, trucks, etc.) • Manual technical background WORKING CONDITIONS: This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.
