Sprint into Spring 5K Run/Walk is a community- focused event, open to participants of all ages. The Sigma Theta Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. is hosting their 5th annual 5k Run/Walk. This event is aimed to raise funds for scholarships for deserving students that will be pursuing a post secondary education. What a fun way to impact your local community by becoming a sponsor for the event and help a deserving student pursue their dreams at the same time. Alpha Phi Alpha, the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African-Americans, was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong bond of Brotherhood among African descendants in this country.  We are true to our mission which is to develop leaders, promote brotherhood, and academic excellence while providing service and advocacy for our communities.   The Sigma Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated was chartered on January 10, 2015 and serves Liberty County and surrounding areas.
