Join us at the Free Imam Jamil Press Conference & Protest outside of Imam Jamil's prison in Tucson, Arizona Sunday 8/15/21 5-7pm MST. Imam Jamil Al-Amin, formerly known as H Rap Brown, a Black Revolutionary & Human Rights Activist, has been wrongfully imprisoned for 21 years and is now 77 years old and legally blind due to denial of cataract surgery for 3 years. Our next action is holding a Press Conference & Protest outside of Imam Jamil’s prison on Sunday August 15th, from 5-7pm Mountain Standard Time (local time zone for Tucson) outside of United States Penitentiary (USP) Tucson, 9300 S Wilmot Rd, Tucson Arizona 85756. This event will highlight Imam Jamil's medical neglect, request his transfer back to Atlanta, GA where he can participate in the active investigation of his case, and call for his exoneration.
