The Mall is Alive with the Sound of Music GREETINGS, JAZZ LOVERS ! ! ! "THE MALL IS ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC" ! ! ! With JAZZ at BISTRO on the MALL in MAPLEWOOD MALL, GERMANTOWN, Philadelphia. July 10th began the opening salvo of stellar Jazz musicians, that included, CEDRIC NAPOLEON of Pieces of a Dream, on bass, JIM HOLTON on piano, a guest percussionist and ARLENE HILTON, on vocals and your hostess. THE SHOW WAS QUITE A SUCCESS, and BISTRO on the MALL THANKS YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT. The upcoming show in the BISTRO'S Jazz series is SATURDAY, JULY 24, 2021, our SATURDAY EVENING LIVE OUTDOOR JAZZ presentation with music tendered by JIM HOLTON, piano, LOUIS TAYLOR, saxophone, MOLLIE DUCOSTE, violin, MIKE O'ROURKE on drums and ARLENE HILTON on vocals and your hostess for the evening. Musicians in audience are welcome to sit in. So, come on out, enjoy great Jazz music, ESPECIALLY ON THE VIOLIN, delicious food, the outdoors with umbrellared tables, and see the mall since its renovation.  NOTE: - As a result of the new $20.00 charge, the $5.00 PP setup fee is permanently waived. - The SUNDAY JAZZ BRUNCH SERIES is discontinued, because it is an outdoor event and will be impacted by the current high temperatures.  The brunch starts at high noon and the sun would be directly overhead for too long a period of time. We will continue offering our audience, you, Jazz Lovers, an every other Saturday evening event, at least until the weather cools.  40 West Maplewood Mall is located in the 5500 BLOCK OF GERMANTOWN AVE at WEST ARMAT STREET.
